Information submitted by Dierdre Freshwater

This gentlemen was, I believe, my 4 x Great grandfather who was eventually transported to Australia for life in July 1814 for sheep stealing having been sentenced to death at Bedford Assizes. The original sentence was rescinded in favour of transportation..

He left behind a wife, Susannah nee Lane and at least three children.

My research is still continuing.
