Shortly after his release he married at Eaton Socon.
After the birth of his first child he moved to Alderminster Road, Bermondsey, London. He was employed as a carman. He went on to have seven children in total, one of whom (George) died in WW1.
One of his daughters (Alice) was my great grandmother.
