Account of the Installation of a Discipline Corn Mill

A Corn Discipline Mill for employing the Prisoners being erected by order of the mayor and other magistrates of the Town, Notice is hereby given, that on and after Monday 14th October next, barley, Malt and Beans will be ground on the following terms:-

Barley and Beans . . . . . 4d per bushel
Malt . . . . . . . 6d per coomb

NOTE: The produce of the Grain sent will be returned weight for weight, with the exception of one pound per bushel, necessarily wasted in the process of grinding.
Corn will be taken in and goods delivered at the Lodge, and no admission will be permitted within the walls without the express order of the magistrates, or leave of the Governor.
