    The taking and carrying of the personal goods of another with the intent to use them for one's own purpose - Grand Larceny:theft. goods or money worth more than 12d (5p). Petty Larceny: goods or money worth less than 12d (5p). (Also Simple, Mixed and Compound Larceny - the latter two include other misdeeds.)
