General Rules for Prisoners - 1841 (p52 and p53)

These general regulations (from Bedford County Gaol) largely cover health and hygiene including: medical examinations on arrival, dealing with clothing that needs fumigating, access to clean water, the number of times a prisoner shall wash and shave and the changing of bedding.
