Walter Horsford - The St Neots' Poisoner
1898

Option 2: Take a careful record of everything in the room

A Victorian Police Officer - MAY have chosen this option
A Police Officer today - WOULD NOT chose this option

A Victorian police officer might have made careful notes of where everything was in the room where Annie Holmes died, for use as evidence.

A modern police officer would have immediately called in special colleagues to take photographs of everything in the room and also video it.

The position of objects might be important evidence. The officers wear especially protective clothing called 'zoot suits' to stop them spoiling any evidence.
